MESSAGE From THE HONOURABLE THE SENATE To THE HONOURABLE THE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

    The Honourable the Senate has the honour to inform the Honourable the House of Assembly that at its sitting on Wednesday 19th August, 2026 the Domestic Terrorism Bill, 2026 was amended in the following terms:

   “Clause 3.(4) The commission of an act of domestic terrorism shall be considered to be an aggravating factor which should be taken into account when imposing a sentence on a person who commits a serious criminal offence.” was deleted.

   AND the Honourable the Senate transmits the amended Bill to the Honourable the House of Assembly inviting concurrence in the amendment to the Bill.
